Accounts Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic junior Accounts Officer who can support a dynamic and growing team. You will support key functions of the accounts and payroll process, provide general support to the accounts team.

Reporting to the Accounts Coordinator, the duties will include:

  • Assists with the coordination of the accounts receivable and payroll administrative support function
  • Accurate entry of invoice and account data into Procura/ MYOB
  • Maintain accurate and organised filing records of all invoices processed
  • Run fortnightly and monthly reports on outstanding accounts
  • Send invoices within agreed billing timeframes
  • Assist with processing direct debit and credit card arrangements for residents
  • Maintain accurate and organised filing of all documentation related to accounts receivable 
  • Manage/ submit claims and other government funding arrangements
  • Issue fortnightly/ monthly customer statements
  • Respond and manage emails/ queries sent to the Accounts email
  • Timesheet checks
  • Other ad-hoc Accounts duties

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Qualification in Accounting or any other related field

Case Manager

About the role

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Case management team as permanent full-time Case Manager within Meditech Staffing. The role consists of managing our existing clientele but will also be responsible for ongoing development and procurement of new business.

Responsibilities include:

  • Client meetings and assessment, referral, review and goal planning
  • Client funds management and developing budgets for clients
  • Relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
  • Co-ordinate and manage services to our NDIS and Home Care Packaged clients
  • Drive business development opportunities
  • Promote Meditech Staffing in the community to potential clients

Essential Criteria

  • 2+ years’ experience in case management in the Health, Aged Care or Community Services Sectors
  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Aged Care, Disability Services, Community Services Coordination, Frontline Management or equivalent (Desirable)
  • Nursing experience and a current AHPRA registration (Desirable)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
  • Complex case management experience
  • Demonstrated ability with seeking opportunities to sign up new NDIS participants to grow the business
  • Proficient with internal databases, Microsoft office and government report funding portals
  • Current Driver’s Licence

About You

The key to success in this role is the demonstrated ability in the below skills and experience:

  • Case Management experience in Home Care Service / National Disability Insurance Scheme with experience in developing and managing a budget for aged or disability care
  • Experience in level 1-4 HCP (Desirable)

Roster Coordinator - Facilities

Meditech staffing is a well-established, experienced Sydney based service provider, specialising in aged care and disability support in the home and in a residential aged care setting.

About the role

As a Roster Coordinator, you will work across our Facilities team to ensure suitable staff is appropriately matched to the client's needs.

You will be responsible for the customer service and administration functions in ensuring rostered shifts are covered. You will also be responsible for promoting continuous improvement of the roster database through accurate and comprehensive data entry. This role includes an on-call component on a rotational basis.

Main Functions include:

  • Efficient Rostering and Service Allocation
  • Take client calls and shift requests; create these in database capturing and reflecting all necessary information to ensure transparency within the team.
  • Ensuring roster information is accurate and maintained
  • Receive information and reschedule to cover unplanned changes in relation to shift coverage
  • Rostering is logistically sound, efficient and the most effective use of staffing resources
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure appropriate compatibility of staff with clients and service users with consideration to skills and lifestyle preferences
  • Ensure quality and safe work standards are followed and adhered to
  • Work collaboratively with clients, support workers and other colleagues to accomplish client, teams and organisational goals

Essential criteria

  • Experience with a Rostering System & an aptitude for database management and reporting
  • Highly developed data input skills and demonstrated experience in office administration
  • High level of computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adapt to other IT systems
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a busy workload in order to achieve business outcomes
  • High level communication skills with the ability to promote culture of achievement, accountability and collaboration in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently and problem solve, and to meet tight deadlines whilst undertaking several projects at any one time
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide a value-added service and build a culture of excellence amongst staff, clients and all stakeholders
  • High level time management and attention to detail skills
  • High level verbal and written skills

Desirable criteria

  • Previous experience in Aged Care/Disability/Community Care
  • Previous use of Procura software (advantageous)
  • Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse raw data and present the analysis in an appropriate manner previous experience working in a quality framework
